Meet Queen Maddi!

Introducing Queen Madalynn Elliott, the reigning Miss AuSable River Festival! Crowned during the Marathon Weekend of 2023, Queen Maddi is more than just a titleholder; she's a dynamic and accomplished individual.

A graduate of Grayling High School in 2022, Queen Maddi soared to the top of her class, setting the stage for her academic journey at the University of Michigan. Currently a sophomore, she is pursuing a major in Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity on the pre-veterinary track. Her commitment to education and her passion for the environment showcase the depth of her character.

Queen Maddi's connection to the AuSable River runs deep, as she has been an enthusiastic volunteer during the AuSable River Canoe Marathon for several years. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she actively contributes to various events, including the Special Olympics, sprint time trials, Kid's Day, and even supporting her father during the demanding overnight canoe race to Oscoda. Her dedication to community engagement and giving back exemplifies her genuine spirit.

In the words of Queen Maddi, "Nothing beats our small town block parties, the AuSable River Festival, and the AuSable River Canoe Marathon. But, above all, it's the love and support that surrounds our community that truly makes it special." Her appreciation for the unique charm of their close-knit community reflects not only her regal poise but also her understanding of the importance of unity and shared experiences.
